Views¶
Rhizome offers several views tailored to different needs — from strategic overview to day-to-day operations.
Visibility
In all views, you only see topics and activity from groups you are a member of.
Overview (Dashboard)¶
The overview is for people who want to stay informed at a macro level. It shows:
- Topic trends — which topics had the most interactions in the last 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days
- Running decisions — active decisions, sorted by deadline (most urgent first)
- My tasks — tasks assigned to you or that you assigned to yourself
- Meetings — upcoming meetings
- My topics progress — the current phase status of topics you created or co-created (Preparation, Active, Decided)
- Topic network — a graph view of current topics and their connections
Beta note
The meetings section in the overview is still under development and is currently a placeholder.
Inbox¶
The inbox is the counterpart to the overview — at a micro level. It works like an email inbox, showing a chronological list of topics with their most recent update:
- A topic is new or has been updated
- Someone mentioned you
- A decision is running or has been completed
- A topic has been dormant and has not been updated in a while
My topics¶
Shows all topics that you created yourself or marked as a favorite (star icon). This view is useful for keeping track of your own initiatives.
All topics¶
A list view of all topics across all groups you belong to, organized by phase.
Archive¶
Shows all archived topics — topics that have been decided, discarded, or are currently under review. Topics under review appear in both the archive and the preparation view simultaneously.
Group views¶
Each group in the sidebar has its own view showing a list of all topics within that group. The right sidebar (collapsible) contains:
- the group description
- the member list
- group administration
- a local network view of topics and their connections within the group
Topic view¶
The detail view of a single topic. It is structured as follows:
Header:
- Breadcrumbs (navigation)
- Favorite (star)
- Follow / Unfollow (bell) — you automatically follow a topic when you create a decision on it
- Three-dot menu: copy link, change lead group, create linked topic, link topics, delete topic
Deleting a topic
Deleting a topic is irreversible. In most cases, archiving is the better choice, since the organization can learn from failed or discarded topics as well. Deletion is appropriate when a topic was created by mistake or is a duplicate.
