Using the live editor¶
The live editor is the central text document inside every topic. You can write alone or collaboratively — asynchronously or in real time.
Writing together¶
When others are editing at the same time, you see their cursor positions and input in real time. This makes it easy to co-author proposals, descriptions, or meeting notes without getting in each other's way.
Formatting options¶
Type / to open the formatting menu. The following options are available:
- Headings
- Numbered and bulleted lists
- Dividers
- Code blocks
- Media and files (images, documents)
- Collapsible sections
- Emojis
Alternatively, select text to reveal a floating formatting toolbar.
Comments¶
Select a passage of text to access the comment function. Comments let you discuss specific parts of the document without changing the content itself. Participants can leave notes, questions, or suggestions right where they are relevant.
Availability¶
The editor is editable as long as the topic is active. Once a topic is archived or otherwise closed, the editor switches to read-only mode.
