Experiment

An experiment is a binding decision with a built-in review deadline. The decision takes effect immediately after it is finalized. When the deadline expires, the topic automatically returns to the agenda so the group can reconsider and update it.

Use an experiment when the organization needs to act quickly despite significant uncertainty. The experiment signals: we are committing to this now, knowing we will revisit it together later.

Note

Experiment and gauge are mutually exclusive.
